We provide counseling/therapy services in Burlington, Iowa and via online video for clients aged 5 and up for individual, couple or family counseling. If you are looking for
extra support through a challenging situation, need support with regard to
someone or something you are struggling with, or if you are just ready to
move in a new direction in your life, we look forward to working with you to
achieve your goals.
Our goal is to help you uncover your true potential and provide support so you can lead the life you want to lead. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work with you to gain insight into those events. We can work together to better understand and resolve struggles and challenges in your life. By applying varied therapy approaches and techniques, we will provide practical, workable assistance with whatever life throws at you!
Because each person has individual issues and goals, a course of therapy will be tailored to meet the specific needs of each individual.
We are contracted with Blue Cross Blue Shield and most other insurance companies and Employee Assistance Programs (EAP's). We do have a few insurance limitations for new clients currently. Please call for more information.
We provide individual, marriage, couple or family therapy. We work with children age 5 and up, adolescents and adults for a wide variety of issues, including depression, anxiety, stress, anger management, divorce/separation, We can also provide Christian Counseling if requested, thoughts about suicide or self-harm, blended family issues, school issues, behavioral issues in children and adolescents, work/occupational stress, parenting, co-parenting after divorce, life changes/transitions, medical changes/transitions, sexuality, LGBTQ, Trauma, PTSD and many other issues. We hope you and your family are in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the last few years. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: Our commitment to the health and safety of our clients and staff. We have developed a mitigation strategy to reduce the chance for transmission of COVID-19 in our office. This strategy in it's entirety is available upon request.
While there’s no way to completely eliminate the risk of COVID-19 transmission, it is our goal to create as safe an environment as we can for our clients and our staff. It is completely up to the client and therapist whether to continue telehealth or come to the office.
COVID-19 is a rapidly evolving situation, and we may need to adjust our mitigation efforts as this situation evolves and changes. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we all work through this unprecedented time together : )
